ABOUT: 

Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Miami, Florida, Vicky Gallardo is currently working as an Associate Designer at Talbots. Vicky recieved her BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons The New School. During her time in school, she studied various practices in clothing design and also took courses in Sustainability, Gender Studies and Psychology. Her work speaks on social issues, where collections focus on the understanding, needs and challenges of underrepresented individuals. Her thesis was inspired by a close experience she witnessed regarding her friend’s challenges with transitioning. You can see her thesis under the Transformation Conversations tab.
